Obzor Wine Festival 2026
Published 29 May 2026
The Obzor wine festival runs from 12 to 14 September on Svoboda Square and the adjoining park. This is the eighth edition; last year it drew around ten thousand people over the three days.
More than thirty wineries from the Thracian Lowlands, the Danube Plain, and the Black Sea region will be pouring. Day tickets cost €8 and a three-day pass is €15. Both include a tasting glass and five tasting coupons. Extra coupons are sold on the spot.
Beyond the wine, the programme covers local cheese and charcuterie producers, cooking demos by regional chefs, and folk performances on the main stage every evening from 7 pm. The festival is run by the municipality together with the local restaurants association.
