The second August horoteka again turns Svoboda Square into a place for Bulgarian folk dancing.
What to expect
The second horoteka continues the August series one week after it began. In a horo, movement passes from person to person, so you can watch from the side first and then find a place in the line. This lets experienced dancers share the square with people trying the steps for the first time.

About the venue
Svoboda Square
Svoboda Square is the central square of Obzor. Columns from the Roman temple of Jupiter, Templum Iovis, stand on it, and the seaside promenade nearby is closed to cars. Events here happen in the open, with nobody checking tickets at a door, and most of the municipal summer programme is free. The car park on the square itself is by subscription; paid parking is by the Town Hall, along Ribarska Street, next to the Obzor Beach Resort and by the town stadium.
