The third August horoteka brings another evening of folk dancing to the centre of Obzor.
What to expect
The third evening comes after the middle of August and again places folk music at the centre. A horo is not only a performance to watch: the line remains open, and the rhythm is learned through movement. The gathering on Svoboda Square turns an ordinary evening walk into a shared dance.

About the venue
Svoboda Square
Svoboda Square is the central square of Obzor. Columns from the Roman temple of Jupiter, Templum Iovis, stand on it, and the seaside promenade nearby is closed to cars. Events here happen in the open, with nobody checking tickets at a door, and most of the municipal summer programme is free. The car park on the square itself is by subscription; paid parking is by the Town Hall, along Ribarska Street, next to the Obzor Beach Resort and by the town stadium.
