"The Sea Rages, Obzor Dances": the folklore festival that opens the summer

Summer in Obzor begins with dance. On 5 and 6 June the amphitheatre above the sea hosted the folklore festival "The Sea Rages, Obzor Dances", which by tradition opens the town's summer season.
The two days
The first evening, 5 June at 17:30, belonged to the youngest: the fifth edition of the Children and Youth Folklore Festival. The next day, 6 June at 18:00, the amateur dance clubs and choirs took the stage for the festival's thirteenth edition. In all, more than 500 participants from across the country appeared over the two evenings.
About the festival
"The Sea Rages, Obzor Dances" has long been one of the town's best-loved summer events. Over the years it has drawn more and more ensembles and clubs, and the amphitheatre above the sea gives it a stage few festivals have: dance in the open air, with the sound of the waves behind the performers.
