About the venue
Gallery at the Izgrev-1927 community centre
The gallery is inside the Izgrev-1927 chitalishte, the community centre. The chitalishte is a Bulgarian institution dating from the nineteenth century: a library, amateur ensembles and a performance hall in one, kept up by the community. In small towns most cultural events run through it, and Obzor is no exception.
